Central Ohio's annual benefit concert just keeps getting bigger each year
Christine's Christmas is an annual benefit concert in memory of Christine Wilson, a 19 year student at The Ohio State University who died, along with four others, at a house fire in 2003. In the months following the tragedy, neighbour Mark King was inspired to record a CD of Christmas music, in memory of Christine, who frequently babysat his children. It proved to be a huge success and led to the establishment of this holiday concert. The money raised goes to the Christine Wilson Burn Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
The show is a night of specially arranged Christmas hymns and songs, with Mark King being joined by a throng of different musicians and singers. The event take place on December 13th at The Capitol Theatre.
