The Man. The Myth. The Legend. It's Lin-Manuel Miranda!

From Hamilton to Mary Poppins, what is the prince of Broadway up to?

With his name on everybody's lips, Lin-Manuel Miranda is surely the crown prince of American theater. With global fame, Lin is a very sought after man. So what has the creator of the most famous musical in the world been up too?

Well, the answer to that my friends is quite a lot, a heck of a lot. As if having an eleven-time Tony-winning production on Broadway wasn't enough Lin has been busy bringing the story of Alexander Hamilton to audiences across the globe, resulting in a seven-time Olivier award-winning production in London, and a sell-out run in Chicago. With three stand-out runs of his name-making musical Lin has turned his attention to his grandparent's homeland, Puerto Rico. The star is set to return to the production as he reprises the leading role! This Hamilton run is also set to help the Flamboyan Arts Fund, a dedicated initiative to preserving and encouraging the arts in Puerto Rico.

Okay so what else has Lin been up too? Well amidst the initial Hamilton pandemonium Lin was busy writing the music to one of Disney's most successful movies since Frozen, Moana. Yep, that's right it was Miranda who penned your favorite tracks from that feel-good hit. And it now seems like Disney are hanging onto Lin with all their might as he stars in the long-awaited sequel/prequel to Mary Poppins, Mary Poppins Returns, as Jack the Lamplighter. And that's not all Disney have him doing! Miranda is also busy writing the music for the conglomerate's newest live-action re-make, The Little Mermaid.

The superstar has also signed onto write music for, and executive produce, Lionsgate's film adaptation of the Kingkiller Chronicle. Miranda also stars in the forthcoming British fantasy drama His Dark Materials.

So it seems that the Lin-Manuel Miranda gravy train shows no sign of slowing down, so you best buckle up and enjoy the ride!
