DISAPPOINTED

My 25 year old daughter and I attended the show. R&H Cinderella was the first musical I took my daughter to 20 years ago, We've seen it several times since then. And although we enjoyed the singing, dancing and acting of the show this time, we were very disappointed that the show did not follow the classic story telling. Adding a political aspect to the story made it less entertaining and enjoyable - if we wanted to hear about politics, we would have stayed home and watched CNN and Fox News rather than coming to see Cinderella.

STRANGE

This is a show for children - it ran 2 1/2 hours long - primarily due to a "new" scene someone inserted in the show. Cinderella doesn't lose her glass slipper running from the ball - no - she picks it up and runs away with it. Later - the prince holds a banquet - and running from the banquet she loses her shoe (finally). Voices were very weak. Sets were very nice and the costume changes we're remarkable.

CINDERELLA

High school level talent at best. 6 family members from ages 7 to 88 attended this performance and were disappointed. Basic chemistry was lacking, songs were mostly boring. Even the stage props were amateur. One bright spot was the effortless costume changes but certainly not enough to offset the performance as a whole

NOT YOUR MOTHERS CINDERELLA

If the title says Cinderella you should get to experience the fantasy of Cinderella. I felt like I had been thrust into another political arena without my permission. The children in the audience were confused when she picked up her shoe and took it with her ....wait a minute so was this adult.

CINDERELLA REVISED

I loved the music . The fairy Godmother was Amazing. However I was disappointed in the story. Cinderella didn't leave her glass slipper which changed the whole story with the prince looking for the girl who fits the glass slipper. The banquet was different. I really thought this production was going to be good. I did like the fairygodmother singing the Whitney Houston song from Cinderella with Brandi.

NOT CINDERELLA-A POLITICAL AGENDA AT LARGE

We were extremely disappointed in this production. This is not the classic Cinderella in any manner. Why do we have to change an original story to fit the liberal agenda? If someone is going to be offended by Cinderella there are clearly way larger problems. This play completely ruined what should have been an endearing story. It is sad that this play has conformed to a political and social agenda, if the story wasn’t broken, don’t try to fix it.
