WONDERFUL

It was wonderful. I felt as if the heart that was missing in 2010 is back, along with the talent (which he always had) that has quadrupled. I'm sad it's over. But so glad with my limited budget and young kids to tend to, that my husband and I got to be a part of this memorable evening.

WHAT A TALENT!

I loved every second of the show! John is so talented. He's just brilliant. The whole band sounded great. Great venue also. Best concert I've seen all year.

JOHN MAYER CONCERT

Its the same day-after-feeling one gets when they've seen a great movie or met a wonderful person . . . you wake up on the same note you left with that you don't want to end. Thank you John for sharing your beautiful heart and soul. And to the band for sharing your love of the vibe.

FREE FALLING INTO JOHN MAYER WONDERLAND

Setlist was nice, length of show was good, nice audience engaement. John Mayer concerts have great backdrops and lighting. He is a 21st century Jimi Hendrix and BB King, and his musicians are top notch, from rock icons Toto, U2, Mary J. Blige, and even Micheal Jackson. What a talent.

ROCKED IT IN TAMPA

Been a long wait to get to a live concert again and John Mayer was the perfect remedy. He was much more engaging with the audience than last time I saw him and of course his guitar talents are unsurpassed. He ranks right up there with all the guitar greats. I saw a complains about the setlist in a Canadian show, but this one had the songs that the guy complained were missing - Free fallin, Burning Room, Your Body is a Wonderland. I missed Queen of California and Born and Raised, but he more than made up for it with others, new and old and his band itself is worthy of headlining. He did riffs of Paul Simon's You can Call me Al in the middle of In the Blood, and picked up bits ans pieces of other well known songs in some of his other works - all adding to the effect that he was out there enjoying himself and the audience, which loved him back. His set was around 2 hours and i left feeling i got my money's worth, saw a master at his best, and a smile on my face. My son introduced Mayer's music to me years ago and i am forever grateful for that. So good I did sob a coupla times.

ABSOLUTELY EPIC

The man is incredibly talented! It was Wonderful. Thought that Clapton was the best guitarist I'd ever seen. I was wrong. Worth every penny spent.

LOVED IT. THE GUY CAN PLAY!!!!!

We sang and danced and was so moved by every song he played. The band was perfectly in tuned with him and show cased his talent for making his guitar sing alongside him. Loved that he played songs from his past that were not always his biggest radio hits but his fans still know and sing every word. Slow dancing in a burning room became my favorite last night.

SO GREAT

The band features legendary artists and the set list was superb. Songs I didn’t expect. During Shouldn’t Matter But It Does, many fans lit their phones’ flashlights creating this incredible vibe that even choked John up.I had so much fun with my daughters even up near the ceiling.

3RD TIME WAS AWESOME

This was my 3rd concert. Outstanding show. I loved the deep cuts and the hearing favorites live for the first time. John was warm and funny as always. Will see him again anytime.

MASTERFUL

So refreshing to see a musician walk on a stage with just a guitar and keep the audience spellbound from start to finish. It felt like a feast of goodness so desperately needed in these times of such cynicism and disillusionment in the world. I think great artists have a special way of moving us to a better place, offering hope and bringing people together - even if only for a moment. I felt this especially when the audience telepathically it seemed - ‘lit’ their candles in unison at one point in the evening reassuring us that there is still good in the world. Thank you John Mayer for sharing your gifts with us last night.

NOT HIS BEST SHOW

I have been to about 7 shows over the years. This setlist was lacking especially on the beginning. John Mayer and the band sounded great. His enthusiasm was lacking. Overall good but not the best pf his shows

3.0 star rating Rob from Toronto, Ontario

TORONTO SHOW GOOD BUT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.

Mayer came out and wowed the audience with his masterful guitar styling and extended solos but missed the mark on the setlist. He hit the mark with a great rendition of Robert Johnson's "Crossroads" however, as a long time fan, I was also hoping for more of the blockbusters as well. Notable songs missing from this setlist which were present in Montreal: "Your body is a Wonderland", "Waiting on the World to Change", "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" (personal favorite), and his epic cover of Tom Petty's "Free Fallin' ". Hopefully the Montreal setlist is played for the remainder of the tour dates and makes an appearance in Toronto at the end of August when he makes a return at a very different venue, the outdoors amphitheater "Budweiser Stage".

A BIT DISAPPOINTED

The opening act Yebba, didn't introduce herself nor engage with the audience. Did they even do a sound check for her cause the sound quality sucked big time!!! Each one of her songs sounded like one after another. She is talented but I couldn't really appreciate it cuz she was over singing with her runs on the songs. She seems cold up there and frankly she was suppose to warm up the audience which I felt she didn't. So opening act was a let down, John was late starting his show. Maybe he talked with the audience a bit, his songs were great of course, with the standard guitar solo after the bridge, it because even more predictable as the night went on. He is talented as f%&$, but it felt like he was just going thru the motions of having a concert. Did he even know there there was an audience out there? This is my third concert with him so yeah disappointed cuz after we have been thru with covid this was a big deal to a lot of people lives including myself just to be OUT, but I guess it doesn't matter with some people, or his fans. Am I still a fan? Yes but not sure I will be going to another concert of his.....

WANTED MORE ROOM FOR SQUARES

Yebba was an amazing opening act! Loved the set design, John sounded and looked fantastic. I just wished there had been a few more of his earlier hits from for his longtime fans.

GREAT TALENT BUT WAS MISSING SOMETHING

I went to the concert with my wife and daughters and this is the 4th time I have seen JM in concert and although the talent on stage was undeniable, it just felt that it was missing the heart and soul that I have witnessed before from JM and some of my favorite artists. He has a strong song list to play from and I just didn't feel the playlist showcased his strengths as a guitar player and singer.

AWFUL OPENING

Joy Oladokun was awful and annoying laugh. Her screaming was just bad. She made it so boring and awkward. I almost walked out of this concert. The sound was really bad. Very disappointing waist of money.i thought this will be a good time but this was torture. If I wanted to listen to an amateur I will go to music Road to listen to a band. Hope John Mayer is good

SOUND SYSTEM WAS HORRIFIC - COULDN'T UNDERSTAND ONE WORD HE WAS SAYING

I was so excited to see John Mayer -but very disappointed. He can play the guitar no question but the entire show was really a jam fest & a bit boring. He did sing some of his classics which was great but you couldn't understand him at all. MUMBLES. The sound system was so bad. Not sure his fault or TD North & maybe could have been fixed during show but wasn't. Best part of the show was leaving the parking garage.

1.0 star rating Rich from Orlando Florida

DISAPPOINTING

I have some of John Mayer's albums which contain melodic, listenable songs. However, as a solo performer this was one of the worst concerts I've seen. John needs a band to support his songs. Without a band his vocal and acoustic guitar style become repetitious and tiresome. As my partner commented "Did he only write one song?" - it all sounded the same. He also lacks the charisma and appeal to carry a solo performance. Not recommended at all.
