The national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's guitar-heavy musical, School Of Rock, is in full swing! Having just welcomed a brand new set of cast members take a look at the cast in action in these brand new production images!

With Merritt David Janes now leading the cast as loveable rogue Dewey Finn, School Of Rock is based on the hit 2003 movie. The cast also includes Lexi Dorsett Sharp as Rosalie, Sami Bray as Summer, Arianna Pereira as Shonelle, Leanne Parks as Katie, Alyssa Emily Marvin as Marcy, Grier Burke as Tomika and Cameron Trueblood as Freddy.

The tour welcomed its new Dewey on October 2 and is scheduled to visit another 25 cities throughout the year, ending in June in San Jose.

What is School of Rock about?

Rock star wannabe Dewey Finn is down on his luck. He's just been kicked out of own band No Vacancy for his over-enthusiastic on-stage antics, and his landlord is threatening conviction unless he coughs up his overdue rent. Desperate for money, he disguises himself as a substitute music teacher to land a position at a well-to-do prep school.

When he meets his new class, a bunch of smart-talking kids who happen to be more than a little handy with their musical instruments, an idea begins to form. A local Battle of the Bands competition is looming, featuring none other than No Vacancy, and Dewey sees a chance for both revenge and a proper shot at rock stardom!
