COMEDY AND STORYTELLING

Hannibal Buress is known for a routine full of left-field randomness delivered in a breezy conversational tone, drawing comparisons to comedians like Steven Wright and the late Mitch Hedberg. More recently, he has also explored music under the name Eshu Tune and built a career spanning television, writing and film.

The Chicago native moved to New York in 2008 with a couple of hundred in his pocket and ambitions of making it in stand-up comedy. Within a year, he had landed a writing role on Saturday Night Live, which led to work on 30 Rock and appearances on shows including Broad City and The Eric Andre Show.
